I've noticed this guy usually posts pics of cars that are about to be crash tested and of cars after the crash. Not sure who he works for. But the exact location of this Renault is up in the air (didn't reply to comments), but since he has no idea what the car is and this is a Chicago group, it's most likely in the U.S.. Interesting thing is that Renault Samsung confirmed that they will bring over the Renault Latitude/SM5 to the U.S. and also a smaller car that's likely the Fluence/SM3. Both would be sold as rebadged Mutsubishi's. Makes me wonder if we'll get this in the US.. I can totally see this as a Mitsubishi, kind of similar design language as the last bubbly Eclipse. Probably wishful thinking with the way our regulations are set up...

he's not a very bright spark, says not sure what it's called yet it clearly says Clio dCI on the rear... that's a pretty big give away as to what it's called

It doesn't actually say Renault though and a person in America would not be likely to recognise the lozenge badge.

If this comes to the U.S., I'll be interested.
If it comes to the U.S. as a Mitsubishi, I won't be.

I'm curious as to why it doesn't have any licence plates (foreign or otherwise) and why would they put a sign on the steering wheel. Yes it maybe out of fuel but surely he has the keys and knowing it was out of fuel wouldn't give the keys to someone else or say to that person he was giving the keys to.
Granted it may be in a hotel car park and may have to leave the keys with reception but you'd get them to put a ticket on the keys or go and get fuel before handing the keys in.
